My Buddy, Mei Lee’s B’day Celebration ’10 @ 5/9/2010

Celebrated buddy Meilee birthday together with Elay + Yukmei + Meilee’s family members, Karfai + Yenyen and her mom at Delicious Dua Residences, KL few days ago. It was a gals gathering on Meilee’s birthday as usual, what made it differently this year was… I brought my Sunshine DL along. : ) Eh… nothing special, it just that I wish to share my happiness with one of my closest buddy, Meilee who used to worried that I couldn’t find someone I have been long awaited for, to take good care of me and love the one who I am. Am I recognized him as my other half in front of my friends too fast? Well~ this question doesn’t come into my mind at all because of the strong fated feeling, I just wish my dear buddy to know that I have found the one… (^.^ ) Alright, guess I have wrote enough in sharing my happiness. Back to Meilee’s birthday, it was indeed a treasure moment for us to get together and shared our laughter. Hope we can still have the opportunity to gather together after Meilee shifted to S’pore for good. : )

B’day Celebration @ IOI Boulevard @ 26/6/2010

Thanks to my gal friends whom organized and celebrated my birthday with me at Kissaten, IOI Boulevard, Puchong last week. I was a little late that day rushed back from KL to Puchong, luckily none of them suffer from gastric or faint due to the long waiting time in hunger. =.=

We then filled our stomach and continued the gathering at Pacific Coffee not far around the corner, where I made my birthday wish and cut the given indulging chocolate birthday cake. I’m glad that I could have a bunch of buddies around and celebrated my birthday. To me, the celebration was just the second. What’s made the night more meaningful was our time gathers together. It was indeed, another cheerful and enjoyable gals gathering. : )

Bumped up to this song sang by Michael Wong 王光良 & Chiang Mei Chi 江美琪(小美) lately again, that reminded me something back in many years ago… I decided to blog it here to cherish the unbeatable status quo friendship that I have with my buddy guy friends. Thank you for being one of my friends… and still. Friendship forever…!

Chorus

Repeat x1

Repeat Chorus x1

Setia Eco ½ Marathon ‘10 @ 5/6/2010

I participated Setia Eco ½ Marathon ’10 with my buddy colleague, Meilee this year. It was my 2nd run in Setia Alam Township and the route is somehow similar with the previous Klang Pacer ½ Marathon run in Y2009.

Erm… I have not been running after my previous 11km ½ marathon run and ever since I transferred to KL Sales Office due to well-known traffic condition. So, I bought myself a treadmill machine to save the travelling hassle to fitness center and lie to myself that I did practice for the run. : P
How was the run? For sure I’m long way behind Meilee but at least… I completed the run within stipulated timeframe. Paiseh…

Redang Island Relaxing Trip ’10 @ 1/6/2010 ~ 4/6/2012

Tada~ Nixon’s girlfriend - Jessica. : )

SSRC Sg Chiling Diversion To Fraser Hill Outing @ 22/5/2010

That should be my 3rd visit to Sg Chiling with SSRC but ended up became my 2nd visit to Fraser Hill with SSRC…

It was drizzling early that morning but we still depart and head to Sg Chiling. As soon as we reached, we found many groups of people hang around the entrance because the maintenance team has blocked visitors to get into the park. We have been advised that it is not safe to go in because of high stream level and strong stream current due heavy rain in early morning.

So~ we diversified our outing to Fraser Hill which is an hour away from Sg Chiling and get ourselves chilled up at Fraser Hill without proper fittings as our cloths were meant for sunny trekking and camping by the side of gigantic Sg Chiling Waterfall. Nevertheless, it is still an enjoyable SSRC outing overall where everyone gets to get together out of office.

Tibetian Zhi (天珠) Bracelet @ 9/5/2010

I bought a Tibetian Zhi (天珠) bracelet today with Michelle at Zhi Kingdom, Mid Valley Megamall since we can’t make it to our planned Tibet trip in due of 6.9-magnitude earthquake hit at Qinghai Yushu (青海玉树) in April ’11 where PRC had declared Xining (西宁) of Qinghai-Tibet Railway (青藏铁路) as temporary relief base (临时救援基地).

We have been wanted to get ourselves a Tibetian Zhi long ago and finally we got one today on fate I would say, of which we did not plan for it but at an out of sudden action call Initially, we thought of getting those Zhi on promotion but we ended up upgrade to a higher charm level Zhi, with slightly pricey price of course. : ) Both women who has lesser worries on career and monies… had wishes for an average livings with good love relationship / life partner having seen all their miserable love relationship in the past.

By 黄小琥

Repeat

Repeat x1

SS is reuniting with SP again… I’m glad to know about his re-employment and happy that his brilliant finally being recognized after he left SP family for years.

Farewell With My Buddy Colleague, Eamy ’10 @ 5/2/2010

Buddy Eamy is going to transfer to SP Penang project soon… Before get loss of her, we arranged and had a farewell dinner with her at Boston Concept Restaurant ( 又一城茶餐厅 ), Bandar Puteri Puchong together with Algy + Liching & Chengni. We shared to our recent Bangkok trip photos recalling the fun of the trip and enjoyed a good chat that night.

4D3N Bangkok Trip With Buddies ’10 @ 29/1/2010 ~ 1/2/2010

Bangkok! Here we come… A group of 6 ladies finally flight off to Bangkok on these dates after a long advance planning, availability checks and rescheduling for years to travel in group.

Day 1
We arrived by different MAS & AK flights, gathered at our hotel, Salil Hotel Sukhumvit - Soi Thonglor 1 and took BTS for a late lunch at Central World. We then walked to Platinum Mall under the rain for our 1st shopping hunt. We spent few hours in the mall yet we still have not enough time to shop all the levels and return to buy, we only managed to hunt as we go once we find the price is reasonable. In general, those shops somehow sell similar product... But you hardly find exact same design that you like in other shops once you left the shop. Most shops in the mall offer warehouse price if you buy more... some already warehouse price and bargain only if you really interested. We had our 1st dinner along the roadside while on the walk way back to Central World for Naraya bags before we took BTS back to the hotel and ended the day. If we were to recall now, we are real daring to have the 1st dinner at the roadside without food poisoning in mind at that time, which may ruin the trip.

Day 2
As planned, we rented a 4WD MPV for Ayutthaya tour since we have a group of 6 ppl @ total B$4000 if not wrongly remembered. It took us almost 2 hours to travel to Ayutthaya and another 2 hours from Ayutthaya back to hotel due to jam. No doubt the place is nice but it's also very hot and tiring. We forgo the initially planned Ladyboy show because most of us watched before and it's about RM80 for the show. Instead, we went for a Thai massage in view of the tiredness followed by dinner and took meter taxi back to hotel for shower before our next program, Sirocco Sky Bar.

Sirocco Sky Bar, the famous sky bar in BKK... High end bar with many mat sallehs hang out that can enjoy huge wind and cooling at the top of Lebua State Tower, a nice bar to visit to amaze the night view of BKK with a compulsory drink per pax. Oya~ Take note on the smart casual & no slipper dress code if you wish to visit the bar... Besides than slipper, Crocs shoes also not allowed because it is made of plastic. Myself + another friend wore Crocs... being rejected to take the lift up to sky bar. Nevertheless, all of us still made it up to the top without buying of shoes. Interested to know how? I can sell you the tricks… : P We took a meter taxi back from Lebua Tower of State to hotel after the hang out, 6 ppl in 1 taxi... You can never have that in MY.

Day 3
Took Mo Chit BTS line to the 7 football field sized Chatuchak on this day and venture the place in pairs with targeted rows because we obviously cannot manage to shop the whole Chatuchak. It is advised to shop as you walk as you can hardly find time / ways to get back to the same stall.

In the afternoon, we took boat transfer along Chao Phraya River to the Grant Palace jetty followed by tuk tuk / meter taxi land transfer to the Grand Palace. There are quite a number of mini palaces within the Grand Palace of which, we only able to visit 2 of those because we were a little late from Chatuchak and the Grand Palace close at 3:30pm.

Then, we took a 3sec boat transfer across the Chao Phraya River from Grand Palace to Wat Arun and climbed the Wat Arun for some shots. We also enjoyed the sunset outside the Wat before we head back for boat transfer along Chao Phraya River. You can also opt to enjoy a better sunset scenic of Chao Phraya River with their luxury boat trip around the cost of RM50 - RM60 per pax.

We then went for dinner and a quick walk at Siam Paragon after we were back from Wat Arun followed by meter taxi from the nearest BTS station to visit the Suan Lum Night Market. Eh… You can also go by BTS with Skytrain transit but we didn't because our gang lead went back to hotel earlier and we were lost half way at BTS station. We didn't manage to cover the whole night market since it was a little too late and a little more expensive than Platinum Mall. But… most importantly is, we ran out of Energizer battery!

Day 4
We rented a van for Damnoen Saduak Floating Market tour @ total B$3400 ( if not wrongly remembered ) include transfer from hotel to airport later in the day. As some of you may aware from Internet travel advises, our van stop at the very 1st "boat jetty" where there are people asking us to start the motor boat journey at expensive cost. Lucky that we have ignored the offer and asked the driver to send us further in to the main "boat jetty" where, the main "boat jetty" is very obvious with signage around and you can start to see some boat stalls parking along the riverside.

There are several boat operators available at the main "boat jetty", we bargained the price and get into a manual boat to embark the journey in a nicer traditional way. We bought things + food to eat along the way and also tried some boat stalls parked along the river at the “main jetty" after disembarkation. We had smooth boat traffic on the way in but were stuck in bad boat traffic jam during our way out due to anti-traffic direction where, most tourists reached and started their journey at the time. Overall, floating market is worth to visit but remember to schedule your time promptly according to boat traffics.

Last, we went to BIG C supermarket to shop for Thai MAMA Brand tom yam maggi mee + junk food etc while on the way back from Dumnoen Saduak and stopped at the a corner Naraya shop nearby our hotel ( 1 / 2 BTS station away ) for bags again before we get packed and depart from hotel to airport for evening return flights. With that, we ended our BKK trip… with 1 bag go 2 bags back at KLIA & LCCT respectively.

Relocate Nest To Setia Sky Residences, KL Office @ 26/1/2010

I’ve once moved my work place from Setia Eco Park Office @ Green Canopy to station at Corporate Office @ Eco Tower one month ago due to the Management decision that restructures the department with immediate effect. This time… I move my work place again from Eco Tower to the newly renovated office @ Skypod, Setia Sky Residences Office.

Hmm… I do not know how the new environment going to be but I’m sure that I will definitely skip all my lunch in future due to geographical distance from office to makan places that needs to drive out… : ( Perhaps, a good reason for me to control my diet. : )

Nite Outing With Setia Sky Residences Colleagues @ 15/1/2010

Thanks to bro Mike & Algy…

This is my first hang out with fellow colleagues-under-the-same-roof-to-be at Quattro Avenue K, KL. It is indeed a pleasure to meet and get to know them a little prior my formal relocation from Setia Eco Park, Setia Alam to Setia Sky Residences, KL. As usual, we had fun that night with our drink & drunk philosophy. : P
