Umm... We recently had our mini gathering at Secret Recipe Ampang Point to give Yen a surprise birthday celebration initially.. and ended up with all December babies around... As norm, MC is the 1st person who sat there with Adrian having their tasty food when I reached the venue. I ordered the Fish & Chip that's so-so only for my dinner... Vay reached 15 min earlier before Yen & Jo and we took our dinner while MC & Adrian made their move with valid reason ( I must say )... : P
We than ordered 4 pieces of cake to have a mini birthday celebration for all the December babies left behind... I'm the only exception... Sigh... : (
However, it worth the value for just RM32 to buy 3 December babies a treat... Kekeke... : P This is how we looks like when cakes were delivered to our table, snapping photos here & there... : D
Happy birthday & best wishes to all the December babies, you know who rite... ; )

A VIP’s Bro’s Wedding @ 14/12/2005
Took a 5 days off which covers a total of 7 off days ( inclusive of P/Holidays ) in a row in the month of December lately… Nah... I'm not going for any trip / outing this round… Instead, I went down to N9 attending a VIP’s bro’s wedding dinner at the bride’s home town… And subsequently, another wedding reception dinner back in KL few days after / days after the SP Annual Dinner… Wonder who’s the VIP with such a great capability ? Here’s who he is… ^_^
Congratulation to the bride & groom... : )
Note:~ To Setia-rian who saw this blog un-intentionally... Please treat this as personal, private & confidential... Thx... : )

A Vendor of Mine... @ 3/12/2005 - Part I
I've been dealing with many vendors since day 1 of work... and of course I do keep personal contact with some of them neither local / foreign via email and messenger(s).
Come across with this vendor of mine... where we used to work closely. He's like a big brother to me though he isn't that old at all... May be because of his past, may be because of his appearance or perhaps his working experiences... We do share some of our personal thought sometimes...
Never forget things that we've went thru, matters that we've talked before and thought that we've shared... Thanks for his tolerence, thanks for his kind consideration and thanks for his patient in listening to my personal problems when I couldn't find 1 to talk to...
Today, so happened that I browse thru his MSN Space while I'm surfing my buddies' blog... Knewing that he finally found his soul mate after 2 yrs of souring + loneliness... I'm glad that we didn't get things on earlier and I'm happy that he could finally overcome himself from his past shadow which finally leads him to his real "faited" soul mate... : D So, unlike before the acknowledgement of this relationship... no more skipping of topic when we meet next time lor, k... : P
Last, I extend my very best wishes to him & his honey, may all the good follows both of them till the wedding bells ring, till the end of the road... God bless... : )
to be continued......

When Bear Hit 8664 In Red @ 2/12/2005
This gotto be a bad month though... as things doesn't goes on smoothly... or at least steadily... What a shock !! It's never ever come across to each and everyone of us in SP that this could happens to 8664 back to a month before, when 8664 still stand at 4.30 where everybody eagerly waiting for the capital repayments, where no one will / can predict that this is how 8664 ended up with... Well... for those who unaware of 8664, here's how the story tells...
As soon as after the capital repayment, 8664 went down to 3.90 where it drops more than the repayment % unexpectedly... However, everyone is still holding hard and had the confidence that 8664 will somehow climb up again... At the same time, government announced to increase e8664 taxable margin from past market value to current selling value effective from Year 2006 and believe me, it will lum to a big sum for those who hold great volume duh... So, with that, most of us decided to takes in all e8664 by end of the year with the confidence that we have in 8664 even though it did dropped down till the 3.40 boundary.
Darkness falls... after everybody had takes in the e8664 in bulks... 8664 felled from 3.40 to 3.10 and somehow able to climb back to 3.30 on 1/12/2005. But, luck doesn't resides on 8664... where 8664 continue to fall till 3.00 and was last ended up at 3.10 border on 2/12/2005... and this is the border line that 8664 set 2 yrs back. Just couldn't / can't / wouldn't dare to imagine what's going to happens next when 8664 returns to the battle field on 5/12/2005... Oh gosh !! Oh God !! Please protect 8664 from the bear and save her from the dark... Pleaseee... : (

Deeparaya Luncheon '05 @ 22/11/2005
Here's the very 1st Deeparaya gathering ever since I've joint SP for 4 yrs... Why we didn't organise 1 for the past few years? Well, usual ler... No body / subsi is willing to organize lo, cause gotto do lots of preparing works ma... : S
This event was organised by BSA, our Shah Alam subsidiary / sales office of Setia Alam project... Kudos to them... They've done a good job since the office was established being the pioneer to compete our Southern offices in organizing all sorts of events & activities… Yeah ! ^_^ v
To conclude, the Deeparaya event was merry and successfully done although not every SP staff presence… coz not compulsory… as usual when its not an enforcement from the management lor… However, the muhibah spirit where everyone dressed up in all kinds of traditional costume, typically the Indian and Malay costume did makes the event merrier… : )

PRK Laser Vs Custom Lasik @ 17/11/2005 - Part III
Well... Had my 3 months post check-up done... As usual, I left office earlier and drove to get my eyes checked. Waited for about 30 mins cause Doc was out to do some personal things. After the short examine, Doc is confident that both my eyes are relatively healthy... Just couldn't believe that I actually had the Lasik procedure 4 mths ago... and I never regret that I had made this decision... although I have to be prepared that l'll be getting long sighted when I get older... : )
I had my 1st glasses on since I was at the age of 7... and that means
I have been wearing my glasses for almost 20 yrs... So, its just hard to express on what I've experienced during the procedure's day and how I feel when I need not to have my glasses on anymore after 20 yrs of suffering + inconvenient... All I know is I'm no longer "4 eyes"... : D
the end......

Fraser's Hill Breeze Outing @ 12/11/2005
Mmph... This is another outing organized by SSRC... A 2D1N short trip to Fraser's Hill, Pahang... As most of my frens know, I seldom travel around... So this is where I can find my way to travel with my bunch of colleagues... : P
We depart quite late from HQ office after the
Sat half day work cause we have to wait for members from KL, Putrajaya + Shah Alam branch office... Because of the delay, we have to rush all the way to Fraser's gate prior the scheduled road diversion closure... For those who are not aware of, way to Fraser's Hill is scheduled to only allow up hill on odd hour and down hill on even hour due to safety purposes + narrow route. And this hash had causes some of us ( including me ) feel dizzy + want to throw out... In fact, we do have few member's children thrown out in their family car... as for us, "minyak kapak" smell all around loh... : S
Reached hill top and checked-in before 6pm... We then starts to prepare our planned steam boat dinner but only women + lady were walking and working across both kitchens ( we booked 2 next to next apartments ). After all the
hard work in food preparing + boiling + cooking, we then finally can enjoy our hot + soupy + yummy dinner under the breeze cozy weather... Night falls... and everyone had their own activity around... Fun games for children, TV time for the parents, mans' talk at the balcony, girls' talk in the bedroom etc... And we ended the night with a big bowl of hot dessert, which suppose to be red beans but end up as mix beans tong shui... : S Anyway, it's still very delicious after all moms' "fixes"... Thanks to all the auntie-auntie rank members, we really couldn't count on much on men... : P
Started of our next day with nutricious self-made sandwiches for breakfast before we head off to the 1 hr+ jungle tracking. The route is much more easier than what we had before but it's a good start for those who without experience especially kids... : ) Besides, we also visited the plant nursery before we head back to our apartments. We had our remaining food such as Maggie mee, dried yee mee, balance of steam boat stuff as lunch and mouth watery honey dew + water melon as after meal dessert while waiting for uncle-uncle rank members back from golfing and we then went for souvenir walk at the main Fraser's entrance. Last, we ended the trip with a sumptuous meal somewhere in Ulu Yam... : )~

S'pore Breakaway @ 15/10/2005
Finally, I gave myself a breakaway after almost a year of non-stop work… It wasn't an intention... Thanks to Nic, who knew that my favorite band is having their "farewell concert" in S'pore Indoor Stadium and asked me along...
Yup... It's Beyond, the HK band... They have been my inspiration since 14 yrs ago... And now, they announced to break the group officially
and proceed their individual entertainment path after the gone of their main vocal, Ka Kui... whom always in remembrance by every Beyond fan... and so do I... : ( Because of them, I decided to go for the concert and at the same time, make a short tour to S'pore... Lucky me that 1 of my colleague, Ellis, who also decided to visit her friend whom work in S'pore is accompanying me on this 3D2N trip... : D

We had a fun & enjoyable moment on the concert nite which couldn't describe in words… In spite, we also had a memorable tour guided by Nic + Ellis's friend, Khoo... We visited some of those popular places of interest in town such as Bugis, City Hall, Underwater World, and of course also the well known musical fountain in magical Sentosa Island...
which is really fun and magical although it was raining the whole day... Its kind of waste that we couldn't make it to the Night Safari + Orchard Road etc because of the time constraint... However, never forget treats that has been offered by both of them throughout the trip… Thanks gentlemen... ; ) Last... I would also like to thank Nic for being my personal “ah loong” in S’pore with no interest incurred... : PLove & Peace Forever...

Inter-Div Badminton Tournament '05 @ 1/10/2005
We recently had our Annual Inter-Division Badminton Tournament at Bandar Puteri, Puchong. Well... Nothing much cause we ( the same batch of committees ) had organized this event and worst of all, I'm not participating ( you all know la... I'm not good in sport ma )...
Although it's rather bored and tired after all the F&B preparations for 2 days I would say, but no doubt we do feel proud as we made this a successful event again. : ) And, the best part is... I too... won a trophy... Yeahhh ! Wonder why ? Because my division won the 1st Runner Up in the tournament lo... : P

Dama Orchestra - September Tale @ 24/09/2005
Hmm… This is something about September month again… Back to 10 yrs back in May 8, 1995, a date to remember for all oldies lovers… The day where Teresa Teng, the worldwide classic singer left due to severe asthma attack in Thailand…
I attended the Dama Orchestra - September Tale @ KLPAC lately, it’s about the story, the life and songs of Teresa Teng jointly perform by soprano, Ms. Tan Soo Suan and Dama Orchestra. It was really a good show as her performance was great with her showmanship and the way she brought up those songs. And of couse... not forgotten the “hidden” essence of the show, the Malaysia Dama Orchestra team. Thanks to my company whose 1 of the core sponsor of this show, so that I could grab the chance to watch such kind of performance where my beloved father used to love...
Many of Teresa’s songs were sung during the show which includes golden classics like “Yue Liang Dai Biao Wo De
Xin”, “Tian Mi Mi”, “He Ri Jun Zai Lai”, “Ni Zen Me Shuo”, “Xiao Cheng Gu Shi” etc… Sounds good? And you know what, I bet you will be more enjoyable and feel the mood if you did went for the show. : )
Last, she’s gone, but not forgotten with her songs live on… And she remains to be the “Eternal Sweetheart” in the heart of Chinese societies worldwide, leaving her countless fans for 3 decades.
Teresa Teng In Memory…

My Frens Wedding @ Sept 2005
Is the September month again... Why is such special? Because its equivalence to the month of 8 in Lunar calendar... where as usual, many people opt to get themselves engaged / married in this month of prosperous.
I received a total of 3 “red bomb” in this month, 1 from my primary classmate - Derek, 1 from my close colleague - ML and 1 from my vendor… Where I could only manage to attend 1 of it…
And that’s bad… : (
I lost the chance to meet / gather with my primary classmate at Hilton KL cause I was on a carnival duty and I sacrificed my vendor’s wedding dinner at Nikko Hotel cause it was crashed with my close colleague’s wedding… I never had a chance to attend a wedding reception at both these venue and taste their food before… Hope I will get a chance next time… Keke… : D
To my friend / colleague who opt to end their bachelor life… Congratulation & Wishing you a wonderful marriage life with your love ones… Cheers… : )

My Family Portrait Carnival @ 10/9/2005
Umm... I believe most of you guys out there did receive my email about this carnival... Yes ! you can said that I'm promoting my company's event again... Hehe... : D
As what've been stated in the email invitation, it's a 2 days event and I ( in fact the whole MIS Dept ) gotto duty on both days from 10/9/2005 till 11/9/2005 at our BSA & BES Sales Office, Shah Alam ( yup, that's where Alv work... but he's not around, he went down to S'pore for another company roadshow... : S ) What sort of duty? Acting as a processing dept loh... printing + burning CDs for all participants... Lucky me... cause not many customers took their portrait at the location spot which I was being assigned to... Pity my colleagues who gotto do lots of printing + burning compared to me... Nyek nyek nyek... >: ]
However, it does create a great moment to us who work on both these days... As usual, there isn't much customers in the morning... So, we went and took our own portraits instead... Hey, company is paying per package basis you know... We're just helping not to waste any of those under-untilsed location spot + photographer + material only... : P
Overall, this carnival was again a great success as our S&M manage to close 42 deals which amounted a total of RM 11.5 mil sales on these 2 days... Great job guys... : )

PRK Laser Vs Custom Lasik @ 25/08/2005 - Part II
It has been 1 month+ passed since I had my PRK Laser on L eye and Custom Lasik on R eye... This also means that I've been applying my medicine + conducting my self vision check for about a month long and luckily I did noticed a significant improvement on my L eye as time passed by... No more drying, no more double vision + no more inconsistent eye sight... : )
Today, I had my 1 month post check-up on both my eyes and I was very happy that I could finally have my eye sight back to normal with 6/9 vision... I can now see clearly with both my eyes... Hurray...... : D According to Doc, both my eyes are now getting stable and it should reach it max after another 3 months... Well... I've fixed my 3 months post check-up in mid of Nov and we shall see how it progress after that... : )
To be continued......

SPSF Charity Dinner ' 05 @ 11/8/2005
This is the day after approx. 4 months of hard work in practising the musical performance... Unlike the previous 3 years... as this year I'm no longer a performer... >: ) Instead, I've joint the backstage technical crew team. Ever since my secondary school days, I just love to play around the PA console whenever there is any funtion... Finally, I got a chance to in-charge the overall PA of the show... : D
I'm more relax and enjoyable this year cause it only took me 3 weeks to pick up, polish and finally handle the sound system of the entire show... It was definately a great & succuessfull show on the show day combined those hard work from all parties of course... Kudos to everyone... : )
What's the show about? Well... Its a show about things that's happened in a steel factory named " Put Choong Steel" from conflicts, love, restructuring till the company conglomerate. And this musical show was themed "Sparks" which comprised songs like "Holding Out For Hero", "Manhunt", "Lady In Red", "Hurt So Good", "Flashdance", "Footloose" and "That's The Way I Like It" etc...
