My Primary Mate, Mabel’s Wedding @ 18/10/2008

Attended to my primary mate, Mabel’s wedding dinner on this auspicious day of which, I can still recall that I met her back few years ago at one of my colleague’s wedding dinner. Thanks to another primary mate of mine, William who picked me up together for the dinner so that the road blind need not to drive on KL massive complicated road. : P Also thanks to Mabel’s invitation that managed to gather 11 of us around the table catches up with each others and enjoyed the food. We talked a lots of expected old time stories where laughter filled, how we get to hook back in circle and how can we further reaches those who are yet in the loop etc. We enjoyed the gathering where we then, had another mamak session at Lotus ( next to Menara Citibank ) after the dinner before we dismissed this so-called reunion.

Stand > Junfwu, Derek, Jackie, Kyley, Frendy, Meilin
Sitted > William, Carmen, Mabel, Chuencheak

Dear Mabel & Duke, wishing you a wonderful marriage life… : )

My 4 Months Baby Boy New Look @ 18/10/2008

Today, I sent my baby boy to his usual pet saloon for a haircut ( full grooming ) before I went back home to attend a wedding dinner because I find his hair is getting long and hard to maintain since my baby boy is super naughty + playful. I then, went to get myself a facial treatment per earlier made appointment after I left him at the pet saloon. 2hr+ later, I went to pick up my boy after the facial session and found that he is still in the midst of grooming. Hm…It took him 3½hr to complete the full groom session of which I returned to pet saloon again later and pick him back to his grandma’s house. Here’s my baby boy moody looks after the haircut, he doesn’t seems to like his new look duh… : (

Cecil B’day Celebration At Agefuku @ 12/10/2008

Sennie + Eric + Alex + Sam + me celebrated Cecil birthday today with Japanese Buffet Lunch treat at Agefuku Japanese Restaurant, Taipan USJ. This was my first time trying their lunch buffet instead of ala carte buffet, at a price cheaper than Shogun Japanese Restaurant. Erm… I would say the buffet variety offered is rather lesser compared to Shogun but there is no doubt that all were "genuine" Japanese cuisines unlike Shogun, where you can find some other localized cuisines other than Japanese food. However, I quite like the ample dining area + food preparation / arrangement + environment that somehow I personally felt more comfortable than Shogun. We enjoyed the food + chat session for nearly 3 hours before we went home stomach filled.

Another News Update… @ 6/10/2008

I received another unintended update from a colleague of mine today further to the earlier news update back in June.

Someone was betrayed by somebody else after being together with that somebody else in the same department ( again ) whom already held registration of marriage early this year instead of somebody that betrayed me 1 year+ ago because of someone. Indeed, someone is aware about somebody else marriage but still chuck in as 3rd party with affair and even threaten somebody else with all sorts of nonsense + naïve action such as jumping out from car on the go + gangster involvement + suicide till almost ruin somebody else marriage plan per circulated rumor. At last, this someone has no choice but ought to and has resigned with immediate effect ( finally ) due to the uncontrollable havoc / chaos / situation created. Will someone hook back with somebody after this? Is this karma / payback to what someone has done to someone else? Why this someone always likes to / keep ruin one’s love relationship? Is this someone a real bitch?? Guess this someone’s personality is really under debate and has caused some of those with the same gender a shame. As for me… ( speechless + no comment… as this has got totally nothing to do with me )

The Winner Takes It All @ 2/10/2008

The first time I heard about this song was 4 years back when I was participated in my company musical stage show but I didn’t pay much attention to this title because there were some other more popular + rhythmic + famous songs in the musical. Recently, I was deeply attracted to this song lyric after I watched Mamma Mia! The Movie… Reason? Because of the meaningful lyric that touched my inner soul and meant exactly what I felt for my past. I… channel this song to dearly miss I.

The Winner Takes It All
By Abba

I don’t wanna talk
About the things we’ve gone through
Though it’s hurting me
Now its history
I’ve played all my cards
And that’s what you’ve done too
Nothing more to say
No more ace to play

The winner takes it all
The loser standing small
Beside the victory
That’s her destiny

I was in your arms
Thinking I belonged there
I figured it made sense
Building me a fence
Building me a home
Thinking I’d be strong there
But I was a fool
Playing by the rules

The gods may throw a dice
Their minds as cold as ice
And someone way down here
Loses someone dear
The winner takes it all
The loser has to fall
Its simple and its plain
Why should I complain?

But tell me does she kiss
Like I used to kiss you?
Does it feel the same?
When she calls your name?
Somewhere deep inside
You must know I miss you
But what can I say
Rules must be obeyed

The judges will decide
The likes of me abide
Spectators of the show
Always staying low
The game is on again
A lover or a friend
A big thing or a small
The winner takes it all

I don’t wanna talk
If it makes you feel sad
And I understand
You’ve come to shake my hand
I apologize
If it makes you feel bad
Seeing me so tense
No self-confidence
But you see
The winner takes it all
The winner takes it all......

Mamma Mia! The Movie @ 2/10/2008

Yes! It’s the long awaited Mamma Mia! The movie in cinema! Me + Algy + Eamy + ex-colleague, Sharmaine went to catch this on the 1st Raya night at TGV Sunway Pyramid. Three of us except Algy arrived earlier and had our light dinner at 1 of the Korean stall in Asian Avenue before the show time. We ordered few Korean snack + can drink and enjoyed our food as if we were food critics tasting the food. Hahaha... Oya, by the way, the food were quite delicious duh… I'll be back. : P

We then waited for Algy at the cinema entrance and entered the hall on time. As soon as the show started with the intro song “I Have A Dream” in the air, all our good old memories on one of the stage musical performance come back. It was the 1st SP musical stage performance themed I Have A Dream that mimics the Mamma Mia! stage show with Abba’s greatest hits. It was also our 1st musical participation where we just can’t stop recall those good old days in training + performing the show and how we started to bond our friendship. ^.^ Besides, we also can’t stop to sing / bopping along the whole movie + smiling deep in our heart in addition to laughter created by the movie itself. All in all, the movie was great as the artists + director has successfully moved the show from stage into big screen and has made the show with oomph in vogue + comedy technique. d(^.^)b What else must I say~ A movie that you really can’t miss! A movie that you will for sure sing and jive along the rhythmic hits! A must watch movie for all… : D

Can’t wait to catch the stage musical extravaganza Mamma Mia! Live this coming Dec… ^.^
