Buddy Ex-Colleague, ChengNi B’day Celebration @ 20/5/2009

I attended to a gathering and celebrated my buddy ex-colleague Chengni birthday together with Liching + Algy + Eamy & Meilee at Star Village Restaurant 星之村西餐厅 , Bandar Puteri Puchong. The restaurant has few chain outlets featuring different theme such as Environmental ( OUG ), 60’s Oldies ( Kuchai Lama ) and Beach Resort ( Kota Damansara ) with their own specialties. We ordered and shared their chief recommended food like Seafood Platter, Nan Yi Chicken Cube, Mixedgrill + drink like Sun Tea, Coconut Ice Blend etc. The foods were overall good in taste and drinks were refreshing especially their well-known Sun Tea. We enjoyed our time chat around under a comfortable gathering ambiance and called of the night after Chengni made her birthday wish + cake cutting + some photos sharing session. Happy birthday to Chengni...!

Joy Ride & Test Drive… @ 17/5/2009

Test drove both Honda City and Toyota Vios with Nixon today after being tempted by my ex-colleague Ever & her hubby Edwin about the power of Honda City though I’m slightly bias towards Toyota Vios. The new Honda City is indeed more “leng chai” than the previous design as well as Toyota Vios which really makes me falls for it and decided to give it a try. However, I was kind of disappointed after I sat onto the E-Spec Honda City and test drove the car. Despite than the not-so-comfortable jerk / momentum feeling whenever I pump in more petrol to speed up, the engine sound gave me the most unexpected outcome where both Nixon and I felt it was rather annoying. I understand that Honda try to put in the F1 kind of driving experience but the engine sound is real loud even though I drove on a busy road.

We then went to the nearby Toyota showroom and test drove the G-Spec Toyota Vios on the same route. It was a different driving experience compared to what I had with Honda City and… Wow~ it does earned compliments from both of us, although we still hear the engine sound when I speed but it is relatively less noisy than Honda City. Having known that S-Spec has stopped production and facing out, I decided to lock-in my booking the same day. Hope I can still manage to get my chosen spec and desired color by then. As for now, I gotto start to work harder and earn more $$$$ lur~ No more spending, no more shopping, no more holidays, no more free weekends... =.=”

SPSB Charity Visitation ’09 - II @ 16/5/2009

Having learnt from our previous experience, we organized another charity visitation to Good Samaritan Home, Klang again. This time, we didn’t bring them any groceries but we arranged and brought them buffet lunch with our cumulated balance + unutilized SP staff meal vouchers besides than recycled toys + study materials etc. It wasn’t a real sumptuous kind of meal treat but it does somehow filled up the kids’ stomach especially with finger foods like chicken nuggets, sausages etc. We played games with the children, mixed around and talked to them whilst having our lunch together. All of them were positive and it is good to know that their parents discard doesn’t impact them to carry on their life with love given from everyone else. : )

Farewell With My Colleague, JC @ 14/5/2009

Been invited by my buddy colleague, ML and joined the farewell of another colleague, JC mid of May at Asia One Café, Bandar Puteri Puchong. Just like how the Chinese proverb “no fight no knew”, I would say JC & my not-so-friend friendship started off with email-fighting where I demanded for some IT technical support beyond normal user request, partly because I came out from the same good old department and my a-little-better-understanding on company IT structure. JC is the 6th person resigned / transferred out from the good old department since I left which I believe there must be some common shared reason of why we opted to do so. Right? : ) Anyway, this reason is no longer important since we were now all out from the old boat except those bitter sweet memories that beneath our heart and to talk about / share again in gathering if any.

To all off-the-boat passengers, let’s move forward to live our life… Cheers!
