Mmph... This is another outing organized by SSRC... A 2D1N short trip to Fraser's Hill, Pahang... As most of my frens know, I seldom travel around... So this is where I can find my way to travel with my bunch of colleagues... : P
We depart quite late from HQ office after the
Sat half day work cause we have to wait for members from KL, Putrajaya + Shah Alam branch office... Because of the delay, we have to rush all the way to Fraser's gate prior the scheduled road diversion closure... For those who are not aware of, way to Fraser's Hill is scheduled to only allow up hill on odd hour and down hill on even hour due to safety purposes + narrow route. And this hash had causes some of us ( including me ) feel dizzy + want to throw out... In fact, we do have few member's children thrown out in their family car... as for us, "minyak kapak" smell all around loh... : S
Reached hill top and checked-in before 6pm... We then starts to prepare our planned steam boat dinner but only women + lady were walking and working across both kitchens ( we booked 2 next to next apartments ). After all the
hard work in food preparing + boiling + cooking, we then finally can enjoy our hot + soupy + yummy dinner under the breeze cozy weather... Night falls... and everyone had their own activity around... Fun games for children, TV time for the parents, mans' talk at the balcony, girls' talk in the bedroom etc... And we ended the night with a big bowl of hot dessert, which suppose to be red beans but end up as mix beans tong shui... : S Anyway, it's still very delicious after all moms' "fixes"... Thanks to all the auntie-auntie rank members, we really couldn't count on much on men... : P
Started of our next day with nutricious self-made sandwiches for breakfast before we head off to the 1 hr+ jungle tracking. The route is much more easier than what we had before but it's a good start for those who without experience especially kids... : ) Besides, we also visited the plant nursery before we head back to our apartments. We had our remaining food such as Maggie mee, dried yee mee, balance of steam boat stuff as lunch and mouth watery honey dew + water melon as after meal dessert while waiting for uncle-uncle rank members back from golfing and we then went for souvenir walk at the main Fraser's entrance. Last, we ended the trip with a sumptuous meal somewhere in Ulu Yam... : )~
