What a bad day! I was nearly admitted into hospital on this date due to Dengue suspicion which was all began with the lymph nodes infection on my right neck. I was diagnosed with lymph nodes infection and was prescribed antibiotic early of Sept. However, the swollen lymph node doesn’t go off but spread and keep grow bigger after 1 week. I then when for another check due to fever + flu early morning and the doctor did a blood test for me in view of my non-going swollen lymph nodes + fever + body ache. Later in the evening, I received call from clinic doctor advised me to admit hospital for Dengue confirmation check because my hemoglobin / blood count was low. : (
Mom and I went to Gleneagles Hospital around midnight after being urged by her to admit on that day itself. When we reached A&E Dept, we were being advised that the hospital was full and there is no more bed available for me to admit. I then was being diagnosed and advised by A&E MO that my case may not be Dengue and was referred to ENT Specialist. Then, I went to visit the ENT Specialist the next day, the specialist advised that my low blood count is still acceptable, prescribed me 2 types of strong + imported antibiotic and get some rest after being diagnosed. Somehow, my fever still return off and on even thought I’m on medication for the past few days and worst still with the present of diarrhea. In view of that, I visited another medical centre and the doctor advised that my stomach was really upset and full of wind. He prescribed my some medicine include charcoal to ease my stomachache + diarrhea and conducted another blood test for me since my fever still persists. Luckily, my blood test result has back to normal and the doctor confirmed that I’m not Dengue infected. Thank God that I’m safe… except the swollen lymph nodes infection that needs weeks to fully recover. =.="
