A Vendor of Mine... @ 3/12/2005 - Part I

I've been dealing with many vendors since day 1 of work... and of course I do keep personal contact with some of them neither local / foreign via email and messenger(s).

Come across with this vendor of mine... where we used to work closely. He's like a big brother to me though he isn't that old at all... May be because of his past, may be because of his appearance or perhaps his working experiences... We do share some of our personal thought sometimes... Never forget things that we've went thru, matters that we've talked before and thought that we've shared... Thanks for his tolerence, thanks for his kind consideration and thanks for his patient in listening to my personal problems when I couldn't find 1 to talk to...

Today, so happened that I browse thru his MSN Space while I'm surfing my buddies' blog... Knewing that he finally found his soul mate after 2 yrs of souring + loneliness... I'm glad that we didn't get things on earlier and I'm happy that he could finally overcome himself from his past shadow which finally leads him to his real "faited" soul mate... : D So, unlike before the acknowledgement of this relationship... no more skipping of topic when we meet next time lor, k... : P

Last, I extend my very best wishes to him & his honey, may all the good follows both of them till the wedding bells ring, till the end of the road... God bless... : )

to be continued......

When Bear Hit 8664 In Red @ 2/12/2005

This gotto be a bad month though... as things doesn't goes on smoothly... or at least steadily... What a shock !! It's never ever come across to each and everyone of us in SP that this could happens to 8664 back to a month before, when 8664 still stand at 4.30 where everybody eagerly waiting for the capital repayments, where no one will / can predict that this is how 8664 ended up with... Well... for those who unaware of 8664, here's how the story tells...

As soon as after the capital repayment, 8664 went down to 3.90 where it drops more than the repayment % unexpectedly... However, everyone is still holding hard and had the confidence that 8664 will somehow climb up again... At the same time, government announced to increase e8664 taxable margin from past market value to current selling value effective from Year 2006 and believe me, it will lum to a big sum for those who hold great volume duh... So, with that, most of us decided to takes in all e8664 by end of the year with the confidence that we have in 8664 even though it did dropped down till the 3.40 boundary.
Darkness falls... after everybody had takes in the e8664 in bulks... 8664 felled from 3.40 to 3.10 and somehow able to climb back to 3.30 on 1/12/2005. But, luck doesn't resides on 8664... where 8664 continue to fall till 3.00 and was last ended up at 3.10 border on 2/12/2005... and this is the border line that 8664 set 2 yrs back. Just couldn't / can't / wouldn't dare to imagine what's going to happens next when 8664 returns to the battle field on 5/12/2005... Oh gosh !! Oh God !! Please protect 8664 from the bear and save her from the dark... Pleaseee... : (

Deeparaya Luncheon '05 @ 22/11/2005

Here's the very 1st Deeparaya gathering ever since I've joint SP for 4 yrs... Why we didn't organise 1 for the past few years? Well, usual ler... No body / subsi is willing to organize lo, cause gotto do lots of preparing works ma... : S

This event was organised by BSA, our Shah Alam subsidiary / sales office of Setia Alam project... Kudos to them... They've done a good job since the office was established being the pioneer to compete our Southern offices in organizing all sorts of events & activities… Yeah ! ^_^ v

To conclude, the Deeparaya event was merry and successfully done although not every SP staff presence… coz not compulsory… as usual when its not an enforcement from the management lor… However, the muhibah spirit where everyone dressed up in all kinds of traditional costume, typically the Indian and Malay costume did makes the event merrier… : )

PRK Laser Vs Custom Lasik @ 17/11/2005 - Part III

Well... Had my 3 months post check-up done... As usual, I left office earlier and drove to get my eyes checked. Waited for about 30 mins cause Doc was out to do some personal things. After the short examine, Doc is confident that both my eyes are relatively healthy... Just couldn't believe that I actually had the Lasik procedure 4 mths ago... and I never regret that I had made this decision... although I have to be prepared that l'll be getting long sighted when I get older... : )

I had my 1st glasses on since I was at the age of 7... and that means I have been wearing my glasses for almost 20 yrs... So, its just hard to express on what I've experienced during the procedure's day and how I feel when I need not to have my glasses on anymore after 20 yrs of suffering + inconvenient... All I know is I'm no longer "4 eyes"... : D

the end......

Fraser's Hill Breeze Outing @ 12/11/2005

Mmph... This is another outing organized by SSRC... A 2D1N short trip to Fraser's Hill, Pahang... As most of my frens know, I seldom travel around... So this is where I can find my way to travel with my bunch of colleagues... : P

We depart quite late from HQ office after the Sat half day work cause we have to wait for members from KL, Putrajaya + Shah Alam branch office... Because of the delay, we have to rush all the way to Fraser's gate prior the scheduled road diversion closure... For those who are not aware of, way to Fraser's Hill is scheduled to only allow up hill on odd hour and down hill on even hour due to safety purposes + narrow route. And this hash had causes some of us ( including me ) feel dizzy + want to throw out... In fact, we do have few member's children thrown out in their family car... as for us, "minyak kapak" smell all around loh... : S

Reached hill top and checked-in before 6pm... We then starts to prepare our planned steam boat dinner but only women + lady were walking and working across both kitchens ( we booked 2 next to next apartments ). After all the hard work in food preparing + boiling + cooking, we then finally can enjoy our hot + soupy + yummy dinner under the breeze cozy weather... Night falls... and everyone had their own activity around... Fun games for children, TV time for the parents, mans' talk at the balcony, girls' talk in the bedroom etc... And we ended the night with a big bowl of hot dessert, which suppose to be red beans but end up as mix beans tong shui... : S Anyway, it's still very delicious after all moms' "fixes"... Thanks to all the auntie-auntie rank members, we really couldn't count on much on men... : P

Started of our next day with nutricious self-made sandwiches for breakfast before we head off to the 1 hr+ jungle tracking. The route is much more easier than what we had before but it's a good start for those who without experience especially kids... : ) Besides, we also visited the plant nursery before we head back to our apartments. We had our remaining food such as Maggie mee, dried yee mee, balance of steam boat stuff as lunch and mouth watery honey dew + water melon as after meal dessert while waiting for uncle-uncle rank members back from golfing and we then went for souvenir walk at the main Fraser's entrance. Last, we ended the trip with a sumptuous meal somewhere in Ulu Yam... : )~
