My Frens Wedding @ Sept 2005

Is the September month again... Why is such special? Because its equivalence to the month of 8 in Lunar calendar... where as usual, many people opt to get themselves engaged / married in this month of prosperous.

I received a total of 3 “red bomb” in this month, 1 from my primary classmate - Derek, 1 from my close colleague - ML and 1 from my vendor… Where I could only manage to attend 1 of it… And that’s bad… : (

I lost the chance to meet / gather with my primary classmate at Hilton KL cause I was on a carnival duty and I sacrificed my vendor’s wedding dinner at Nikko Hotel cause it was crashed with my close colleague’s wedding… I never had a chance to attend a wedding reception at both these venue and taste their food before… Hope I will get a chance next time… Keke… : D

To my friend / colleague who opt to end their bachelor life… Congratulation & Wishing you a wonderful marriage life with your love ones… Cheers… : )

My Family Portrait Carnival @ 10/9/2005

Umm... I believe most of you guys out there did receive my email about this carnival... Yes ! you can said that I'm promoting my company's event again... Hehe... : D

As what've been stated in the email invitation, it's a 2 days event and I ( in fact the whole MIS Dept ) gotto duty on both days from 10/9/2005 till 11/9/2005 at our BSA & BES Sales Office, Shah Alam ( yup, that's where Alv work... but he's not around, he went down to S'pore for another company roadshow... : S ) What sort of duty? Acting as a processing dept loh... printing + burning CDs for all participants... Lucky me... cause not many customers took their portrait at the location spot which I was being assigned to... Pity my colleagues who gotto do lots of printing + burning compared to me... Nyek nyek nyek... >: ]

However, it does create a great moment to us who work on both these days... As usual, there isn't much customers in the morning... So, we went and took our own portraits instead... Hey, company is paying per package basis you know... We're just helping not to waste any of those under-untilsed location spot + photographer + material only... : P

Overall, this carnival was again a great success as our S&M manage to close 42 deals which amounted a total of RM 11.5 mil sales on these 2 days... Great job guys... : )

PRK Laser Vs Custom Lasik @ 25/08/2005 - Part II

It has been 1 month+ passed since I had my PRK Laser on L eye and Custom Lasik on R eye... This also means that I've been applying my medicine + conducting my self vision check for about a month long and luckily I did noticed a significant improvement on my L eye as time passed by... No more drying, no more double vision + no more inconsistent eye sight... : )

Today, I had my 1 month post check-up on both my eyes and I was very happy that I could finally have my eye sight back to normal with 6/9 vision... I can now see clearly with both my eyes... Hurray...... : D According to Doc, both my eyes are now getting stable and it should reach it max after another 3 months... Well... I've fixed my 3 months post check-up in mid of Nov and we shall see how it progress after that... : )

To be continued......

SPSF Charity Dinner ' 05 @ 11/8/2005

This is the day after approx. 4 months of hard work in practising the musical performance... Unlike the previous 3 years... as this year I'm no longer a performer... >: ) Instead, I've joint the backstage technical crew team. Ever since my secondary school days, I just love to play around the PA console whenever there is any funtion... Finally, I got a chance to in-charge the overall PA of the show... : D

I'm more relax and enjoyable this year cause it only took me 3 weeks to pick up, polish and finally handle the sound system of the entire show... It was definately a great & succuessfull show on the show day combined those hard work from all parties of course... Kudos to everyone... : )

What's the show about? Well... Its a show about things that's happened in a steel factory named " Put Choong Steel" from conflicts, love, restructuring till the company conglomerate. And this musical show was themed "Sparks" which comprised songs like "Holding Out For Hero", "Manhunt", "Lady In Red", "Hurt So Good", "Flashdance", "Footloose" and "That's The Way I Like It" etc...

A Fren of Mine... @ 03/08/2005

It was about 1 week ago when I got this info... I was shock... Cause 1 of my very close buddy told me that she will be getting married soon out of a sudden... And everyone else of us ( close frens to her ) felt unhappy at all... and at the same time we felt very worry about her too... She's undergoing a depression... : (

Yes, she's having a baby... and that's why she has to marry to her bf in an unplanned situation. I felt sorry to her and I do understand why she react like this... Gals out there, just imagine that u have to marry ur bf without a proper planning / basically unplanned + carrying a baby at the same time while u still haven't had enough enjoyment as a bachelor and the worst is, u just started to gain some archievement in ur career... How sad...?

Well... I really can't think much if I'm trapped like her ( touch wood... ) It was totally off from what I planned for... And I have no reluctant that I may undergo an abortion... But, as a close fren to her, we can't just advise her in that way... It's supposingly a happy thing but yet she felt lost... sad & depress... so do us... In fact, we ( may be herself too ) think that this guy may not be the 100% Mr. Right to her... but she has no choice to marry the guy ( her bf ) coz she doesn't even think of getting / considering an abortion... which sounds good actually... : )

As a close buddy to her.... I know I shouldn't say that and shouldn't talk much... It just keep everyone of us besides her worry about her, her baby & her future... And it's just too much to say also... and in fact nothing much to say too... Argh... What am I writing now... just can't think and write anymore... just stop !

And last but not least... Dear God, may you shower my very best wishes on her... and give her enough strength to undertake this circumstance... Thank God for your blessing... : )

PRK Laser Vs Custom Lasik @ 14/07/2005 - Part I

I wish that I could undergo a sight correction since PRK Laser was 1st established in M'sia many years ago. That time, I was still under age as patient has to be at leat age 21 to sign their conscent letter prior the procedure. When I started to work, I did thought of using my year end bonus to undergo this procedure, however, I used up my 1st bonus ( 2002 ) on slimming programmes ( Marie France + Unisence ), 2nd ( 2003 ) on a brand new P4 desktop and digital camera, and the lastest 3rd ( 2004 ) on facial programmes + beauty products. And I shall be getting the 4th end of this year hopefully. Wonder where I got my $ to undergo the Lasik Procedure ? I disposed my shares... : (

Finally, I got my Lasik Procedure done on the same day when I did my consultation. Upon the consulation, Doc advised me to get both my eyes done using either PRK Laser ( RM2K/eye; the oldest method; about 2 weeks healing time; painless during procedure but pain will occurs after the procedure for couples of day ) / Custom Lasik ( RM 3500/eye; latest method; 3-4 days healing time; slight discomfort during the procedure but need not to suffer from pain after the procedure ) only... Reason being is 1st, both my eyes are ralatively small ( just meet the eyeball size to undergo Standard Lasik, 2nd, my both my pupils has huge abbreviation which will end up seing things in glare / with halo effects.

I decided and insist to 1st try the Custom Lasik and will only change to PRK Laser when complication occurs, although its costly compared to PRK Laser. Cause to me, I rather suffer ( feel discomfort ) for 1-2 min than around 2 weeks afters. Unfortunately, I can only work it out on my R eye with Custom Lasik, while my with L eye, my Doc actually tried twice the vacum suction ( which end up causing redness for about a week ) but somehow she decided to switch to PRK Laser instead to prevent against any complication.

Soon after the procedure, my R eye keeps tearing and I can still manage to open up my L eye to peep things. Believe me, get someone to send you home after the procedure as you definately won't able to open up your eyes. I closed my both my eyes in the taxi all the way back ( its discomfort to open your eyes )... : ( As soon as I reach home, I lay on my bed till late nite... and continue to sleep after my light dinner. In the next morning, its so excited that I can see things clearly with my R eye but my L eye... it was relatively bad... : ( I couldn't see any clear images and it is painful + tearing... I went for my R eye check-up after my lunch and I convey my suffer + concern on my L eye to my Doc, and it's a norm she said.

My L eye is suffer for light pain for about 3-4 days, and see thing unclear + double vision + slight longsighted for about 1 week. And, I did my 1st L eye check-up leaving the office earlier... Guess what? My vision is only 6/20... I started to afraid although my Doc again, confirmed that it's a norm and she set my 2nd L eye check-up in 1 month's time... : ( From then, I started to do some searchings + readings on PRK Laser, and it's really seems norm for patient to see close thing better only after 2 weeks but to get the better vision it will need from 1 month's / 3 month's / 6 month's time depends on individual.

It has been 2 weeks over now... and thankfully, I can see some improvement in my L vision as compared to the last 2 weeks. Anyhow, till date, I'm still conducting my self vision test by closing my R eye... Wishing that I can see somemore improvement and finally get to see things clear with my L eye... : (
