My Course Mate, Calvin’s Wedding @ 26/4/2009

It’s Calvin & Yuki’s wedding! Ya, thanks to Calvin’s invitation to be Yuki’s jimuis which I have already forgotten how many times I became others jimuis. =.= Nah… That’s beside the point. The important is, we get to celebrate our dear friend’s “cross-country” wedding.

We reached Yuki’s rented Sunway Ville apartment early morning, helped around and tortured Calvin’s heng dais during the “bride receiving” ceremony. Erm… it wasn’t a real torture but just some simple activities to show Calvin’s sincerity as well as to symbolize the good in their marriage. After the bride receiving session, we followed the couple to Calvin’s family house at Sunway Damansara for Chinese tea ceremony and photos snapping before called off the day event. I then head back home together with Yen, who need to tumpang at my house for shower + night session. After some rest, we continued and get readied ourselves to the couple’s wedding dinner reception at Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel. It was a well-planned dinner reception with qualify host hired and the environment was set high + merrier at the dinner. We were almost crazy having fun around and enjoyed ourselves all over throughout the night.

Congratulations to my dear friend Calvin & Yuki … May your marriage blessed with happiness and wishing you both a wonderful marriage life…: )

S’pore Spending Trip @ 18 & 19/4/2009

Okie… I must admit that I did a spending trip in S’pore last week when I accompanied my youngest sis Winnie, for her Joey Yung StarLight Live Concert 2009 at Max Pavillion, S’pore. She purchased herself the most expensive ticket with her fellow Joey Yung’s Fans under the fans club. Nope~ I didn’t catch the concert even sis Winnie still able to get me low class ticket simply because I rather shop around than to watch her concert since I’m not into this artiste. Hehe… Also because of this, I’ve spent quite some monies in S’pore and I even have to loan my course mate, Nick’s credit card when I unable to charge to my credit card due to fault, he is the usual loan shark when I traveled down to the land of lion. Thanks to Nick for his hospitality being my tour guide + companion while sis Winnie busy with all her Joey Yung’s fans club activities both the days.

[Quiz] What's Your Dream Job? @ 15/4/2009

I bumped onto this post when I was reading Firethorn’s blog during my lunch break and it sounds interesting. As such, I’ve made my move to take the quiz and here’s my result:-

Score:
Number of A's: 2
Number of B's: 4
Number of C's: 1
Number of D's: 2

Mostly D's: If you answered mostly D's, your ideal career is probably creative. Possible career choices include: writer, photographer, musician, interior decorator, graphic artist, fashion designer. Of course there are many more careers to choose from, but knowing your preferred type can help you narrow down the choices.

Mostly C's: If you answered mostly C's, your ideal career probably involves working with things. Tasks you might do in these careers include setting up, precision working, controlling, driving, operating, tending, feeding or handling. Possible career choices include: chef, repair person, carpenter, collectibles dealer, veterinary assistant and mechanic.

Mostly B's: If you answered mostly B's, your ideal career probably involves working with information. These careers may include tasks such as synthesizing, coordinating, analyzing, compiling, computing, copying or comparing. Possible career choices include: library assistant, editor, web developer, professional organizer, accountant or private investigator.

Mostly A's: If you answered mostly A's, your ideal career probably involves working with people. According to Human Resources Development Canada’s National Occupation Classification, these careers may involve: mentoring, negotiating, instructing, consulting, supervising, persuading, speaking, serving or assisting. Possible career choices include: teacher, human resources, flight attendant, life coach, daycare worker, personal assistant.

Hmm~ Relatively true… Guess I’m really out and away from my ideal career… as my current work portfolio is more towards the “A” category.

2D1N Melaka Jalan-Jalan Trip @ 11 & 12/4/2009

I grouped with my buddy colleagues, Algy, Mike + Cheng for a 2D1N jalan-jalan cari makan trip down south to Melaka riding Cheng’s brand new MPV which is not even 1 week on the road… : P It was a pleasant and enjoyable trip having Cheng leading the group and Mike as our financial controller, so the two “gorgeous” in group need not to worry about anything at all basically.

We visited Melaka Zoo, enjoyed our Chicken Rice Ball lunch + tea time dessert + day walk at Jonker Street upon arrival, amazed the Maritime Museum + Melaka Eye from far while on the way to met up with our ex-colleague Jacky who quit his job and took up his responsibility to be the small boss of his family business in Melaka. Thanks to Jacky’s warm hospitality throughout the evening, we tasted Melaka’s famous ikan bakar, satay celup + oyster omelet, experienced the merrier of Jonker Street night market with all sorts of stalls and its phenomenal line dance + karaoke with even stage put up at the middle of the road. We have also visited The Stadthuys, A Famosa, Christ Church, St. Paul's Church + Malaysia’s oldest traditional Chinese temple - Cheng Hoon Teng etc and bought some souvenirs before we head back to KL the next day. Though tired, especially Cheng who drove throughout the trip, it was indeed a fun + enjoyable trip that has gotten us out from our hectic work life. And, we will… for sure look forward to arrange another jalan-jalan trip soon. Hehe… ^_^

Relief… @ 10/4/2009

After a night long meditation, I decided to switch back to my ordinary life. A simple, happy go lucky life~ I had a talk with my boss, telling her that I’m not that into the recent job diversification having seen the recent worries / rather say depression that I’ve been going through since 2 month ago. I’m darn worries on how my life will be especially my heath… with early signals of red light. : ( I really hope that I could help out my boss and my colleagues as much as I can but sometimes it is just somehow beyond my control. I do have my own vulnerability… Or perhaps I’m just weak… =.= Well~ I’m done with my part and I’ve also conveyed whatsoever concern that I wish to highlight to my boss. What’s left behind now is… the management decision.

Worries… @ 9/4/2009

I’m darn worries lately… Well~ I’m darn worries having seen my disorganized + unproductive work, imbalance work hour + personal time. I starts to worry that I might be over loaded, over stressed, over strained and over minded … I starts to worry that I’m physically aged having stiff shoulder, muscle ache and fatigue body… I starts to worry that I might be crazy thinking unwisely, cry out of no reason and bock down to depression… I even starts to worry that I’m leaving soon a.k.a R.I.P having seen the regularize of my irregular migraine and my serious hair loss at 1:7 ratio of normal hair falls like a cancer patient… I’m just terrible out of my mind with all sorts of worries~ I pray to the God, may Her, the God of Mercy, enlightens me with wisdom and save me out from this hectic life~
